Recruiter
Evaro is building the digital infrastructure for the future of accessible healthcare. Behind every hire we make is a direct line to the patients we serve – the clinicians, engineers, and operators who build and run our platform. Getting that right matters.
We're hiring our first in-house Recruiter to own end-to-end hiring across the whole company. This is a proactive, ownership-driven role: you'll build pipelines, run process, and move fast without compromising on quality.
📌About the Role
This is an individual contributor role sitting within the People team, reporting to the Head of People & Operations.
You'll own the full recruitment lifecycle across all departments – from partnering with hiring managers to understand what they actually need, through to sourcing, screening, and handing off at offer stage. You won't just fill seats; you'll make sure every role has a complete spec and defined KPIs before it goes live, maintain warm pipelines between roles, and keep the process tight so nothing falls through the cracks.
Evaro uses TeamTailor as its ATS, and you'll be expected to keep it accurate and up to date in real time.
🎯What You'll Do
Sourcing & candidate engagement:
Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, build accurate and compelling job posts, and agree the hiring approach.
Ensure every active role has a complete spec with defined, measurable KPIs before posting – flag to the Head of People where this isn't in place.
Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and other channels.
Write compelling outreach messages that engage passive candidates.
Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and anticipated roles.
Screening & assessment:
Review applications and CVs against role criteria.
Conduct initial screening calls to assess fit and interest.
Coordinate and administer skills assessments (TestTrick, business cases) as required.
Interview coordination & process management:
Schedule interviews and manage candidate communications throughout the process.
Facilitate feedback collection from hiring managers and interview panels.
Keep TeamTailor updated with accurate candidate status and notes.
Stakeholder partnership:
Provide regular updates on pipeline status and flag risks to hiring timelines early.
Hand off candidates at offer stage to the HR Assistant and Head of People.
Maintain warm contact with accepted candidates between offer and start date to reduce pre-start drop-off.
Decision Rights
To give you a clear picture of where this role sits:
You own (decide independently):
Sourcing strategy and channel selection for your assigned roles.
Candidate screening and initial assessment decisions.
Candidate communications throughout the process.
TeamTailor record-keeping and pipeline management.
Proactive outreach and talent pipeline development.
You recommend (propose, hiring manager approves):
Shortlisted candidates to the hiring manager.
Sourcing approach and timeline adjustments based on pipeline data.
Job spec or KPI gaps that should be resolved before posting.
You escalate:
Roles where the spec or KPIs are insufficiently defined to enable quality hiring.
Risks to agreed hiring timelines.
Candidate concerns (e.g. counter-offer situations, significant salary misalignment).
Any concerns about hiring manager conduct during the process.
Requirements
Essential:
Experience in recruitment, including proactive sourcing and headhunting.
Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter or similar sourcing tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple roles and candidates simultaneously.
Organised and process-driven approach to candidate tracking.
Preferred:
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (TeamTailor or similar).
Recruitment experience in Tech, Commercial, Clinical, or Finance roles.
Experience in fast-paced or start-up environments.
