Role Overview

We’re looking for a motivated Software Developer to join our engineering team and help shape the next generation of PIP. You’ll build robust, scalable features with a focus on AI-driven experiences, backend services, and integrations that bring real value to our users. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric software.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality code that powers PIP’s core features and infrastructure.
  
  
• Build scalable backend systems and APIs that support AI workflows, data ingestion, and real-time insights.
  
  
• Work with AI/ML services and integrations - ensuring seamless connections between models, databases, and frontend experiences.
  
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate product goals into technical solutions.
  
  
• Write clear documentation, perform code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices.
  
  
• Troubleshoot, optimise, and maintain existing systems to ensure performance and reliability at scale.
  
  
• Help define and improve development processes and tooling as the team grows.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

Must-have skills & experience:

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
  
  
• Ideally proficiency in backend technologies such as Elixir, Phoenix, Erlang or similar.
  
  
• Familiarity with AI/ML integrations or data-driven features.
  
  
• Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills.
